Brief Instructions for the User

Maintenance/acknowledgement: acknowledge faults and start
maintenance operation
If a fault occurs, a fault message is shown on the display alternating with the basic display.
The fault message can be reset (“acknowledged”) in the maintenance/acknowledgement menu
and the maintenance function can be started.
Procedure for resetting fault messages (short):
►
Starting from the basic display: Press the
[▲]
button.
►
Using the
[▲]
and
[▼]
buttons, select the acknowledgement parameter of the
respective heat pump (
RESET HPx
).
Only the parameters of the installed heat pumps are displayed.
►
Modify the setting using the
[+]
button to
ON
.
► Confirm setting with the
[OK]
button.
The fault of the heat pump is then acknowledged and will no longer be
displayed.
Contact customer service if the fault can not be remedied by resetting. In this case, the
information specified in the
System Survey
menu will be passed on to customer service
(→
System Survey (Brief Instructions), P. 11
).
The maintenance function may only be actuated if so instructed by customer service.
Procedure to actuate the maintenance function (short):
►
Starting from the basic display: Press the
[▲]
button.
►
Using the
[+]
and
[–]
buttons, change the setting for the operation of the
system to
ON
(resp. after completion of the maintenance operation to
OFF
).
► Confirm setting with the
[OK]
button.
The parameter is now shown with the changed settings.

Access codes: release further operating functions
Only the most important menus and parameters are visible to the user. The access to other
menus, parameters and operating functions must first be released by entering an access code.
Procedure to enter the access codes (short):
►
Starting from the basic display: Keep pressing the
[OK]
button until the prompt
to enter the access code is shown.
►
Using the
[+]
and
[–]
buttons, enter the numbers of the access code
1111
individually and confirm each with the
[OK]
button.
The display will automatically switch to the next digit in the display and the
previously confirmed digit is then shown as a star (*).
After completed input of the access code, the display shows the respective
access level for a few seconds (
Access code 2: user
) and then changes to the
basic display.
The desired menu must be opened immediately, as the release expires after
a certain time if no further operating processes are implemented. The access
code will need to be entered again.
