Rack Mounting
This unit can be mounted into a 19-type standard rack if optional rack-mounting adapters (AJ-MA75P) are used. For installation,
it is recommended that the rail and the bracket for 457 mm (18 inch) length (part number C-300-S-118) of Chassis Track be
used (The complete slide rail and bracket unit is not available from Panasonic).
For further details, consult your dealer.

Attach the inner members of the slide rail.
The drawing below shows screw placement.

NOTE:
• Note that screw length is restricted.
(B, G: 10 mm, E: 6 mm)
• Attach the left member (L) in the same way.
• Secure each inner member with 3 screws (a total of 6 screws).
• There is no alphabetic legend stamped on the side panels.

Attach the outer member brackets to the rack.
Check that the right and left brackets are the same height.

Remove the four screws on the front panel that
attach the right and left side panels.

Use the removed screws to attach the AJ-MA75P
rack mount adapter.

Remove the four rubber feet from the bottom of the
recorder.

Fasten the recorder to the rack with securing screws.
Make sure that the recorder can be smoothly moved along
the rail.

NOTE:
• A temperature of between 5
°C
to 40
°C (41 °F to 104 °F)
should be maintained inside the rack.
• Bolt the rack securely to the floor so that it will not topple over
when the recorder is pulled out.
