To set the Auto-off after interval:
1.
From the General Preferences list, select Power.
2.
Tap the Auto-off after pick list.
3.
Select the setting you want to use for the automatic shutoff feature: 30 seconds,
1 minute, 2 minutes, or 3 minutes.
4.
Tap Done.
Stay on in Cradle
You can choose to leave your handheld on when it is in the cradle/cable, so that
you can continue to view your data. By default, your handheld remains on when
it is in the cradle/cable and is connected to a power source.
To change the cradle/cable setting:
1.
From the General Preferences list, select Power.
2.
Tap the Stay on in Cradle pick list.
3.
Select Off to turn off your handheld when it is in the cradle/cable.
4.
Tap Done.
Beam Receive
You can choose to turn off the Beam Receive feature. This prohibits anyone from
beaming information to your handheld. It also results in a slight saving of battery
power. By default, Beam Receive is enabled.
To turn off the Beam Receive feature:
1.
From the General Preferences list, select Power.
2.
Tap the Beam Receive pick list.
3.
Select Off to disable receiving beamed information.
4.
Tap Done.
Power on when opened and Power off when closed
You can choose to automatically turn your handheld on and off when you open
and close the Graffiti 2 input area. By default, your handheld turns on when you
open it and remains on when you close it. The Power off option is available only
when the Power on when opened setting is active.
To change the power-on setting:
1.
From the General Preferences list, select Power.
2.
Tap the Power on when opened check box to deselect it.
3.
Tap Done.
