Protector Plugs
Install five-pin protector plugs into the protector strips for each subscriber line installed
(see Figure 15). Refer to Table 11 on page 32 for protector socket assignments.

The installer must provide suitable protection for the subscriber drops.
Do not connect metallic bypass pairs between PG-Flex systems or to other digital loop carrier
(DLC) systems.
