Installation and Wiring

Connecting the Cable
Use the connector provided with the ID Controller.
1.
Crimp the crimp terminals to the stripped section of the wires.
2.
Be sure that the connector is oriented properly and insert the wires in
the connector holes.
3.
Tighten the wire lock screws securely.
Recommended tightening torque: 0.22 N·m
A normal screwdriver is tapered at the end and will not reach all the way to
the back. Use a small flat-blade screw driver with a consistent width.
4.
Connect the wired connector to the ID Controller.
Align the cable connector with the connector on the ID Controller, hold onto the con-
nector, press the connector all the way in, and tighten the lock screws.
Recommended tightening torque: 0.4 N·m
Removing the Connector
Loosen the two lock screws completely, hold onto the protruding portion of the connector, and pull the connector
straight out and off. If the connector is difficult to remove, hold the ID Controller and pull the connector off.
Do not wire the connector while it is connected to the ID Controller.
