Timing Considerations

Refer to the following tables for the processing time of each command used
for communications between the ID Sensor Unit and Data Carrier.

Note 1. The IDS mode is set with pin 2 of the DIP switch.
2. The time required for command processing of the Data Carrier with a built-
in battery is not influenced by the IDS mode.
3. 3.2k and 8k bytes only allow the execution of the clear all command.

Data Carrier Moving
Speed Use the following formula to obtain the moving speed of the Data Carrier.
Refer to the above tables for the processing time of each command. The Data
Carrier’s moving distance in the communications zone varies with the combi-
nation of the R/W Head and Data Carrier. Refer to the appropriate
R/W Head
and Data Carrier Operation Manual .
