Indirect
Reference of
String
Normally displays the string as fixed characters. When specifying a raster font, it is
also possible to select
Indirect reference of string
and browse for the file containing
the string to display.
File
Name
Specifies the file where the string to be displayed is stored. Only files with the exten-
sion .txt can be specified.
The file must be stored in the folder where the projects are stored.
Click the
Browse
Button to specify a string file in any directory.
The specified string file will be automatically copied to the folder where the screen
files are stored. Use this copied file for any subsequent editing.
The file specifications are given below.
File name: 8 file name char .txt (extension)
Alphanumeric characters, underscore (_), dollar signs ($), and periods (.).

The previously displayed string will remain if the file line specification address contents
change to 0. The display will be cleared when the contents change to 0 if the

Character
code
Specify the character code as multibyte or Unicode. Multibyte code uses one byte for
half-width characters and two bytes for full-width characters. Unicode uses two bytes
for all characters.

Select this checkbox to select a label string from the strings registered in the charac-
ter string table.
