2. Press the button to the left of the name of the desired host.

Selecting Word Types
Selects the type of words monitored using the Registered Monitor and Continuous Monitor Screens.
1. Press the type display area.
The CH Type Selection Dialog Box will be displayed.

buttons to switch between word types. Select the type of words to be moni-
tored.
3. Press the address display area to display a tenkey pad. Enter the addresses to be monitored.
4. Press the
Set
Button.
The Word Type Selection Dialog Box will close and the Registered Monitor or Continuous Monitor
Screens will be returned. The settings will be reflected in the word type and address display areas.

If
CLEAR
is selected when selecting the type and the Set Button is pressed, the display up until that
point will be cleared on the Registered Monitor and Continuous Monitor Screens.
Registered Monitor Screen Functions and Usage
The Registered Monitor Screen displays current values for specified words, changes current values,
and is used to perform force on/off/cancel of bits, timers, and counters. You can register 20 words for
the NS15, 14 words for the NS12, 12 words for the NS10 or NS8, and 7 words for the NS5.

Current value changes and bit, timer, and counter force on/off/cancel cannot be performed while the
PLC is in Run mode.

The word monitor settings are enabled until the PT is turned OFF or reset. If the device monitor
function is closed, the display will use the same settings the next time device monitor function is
started.

If a communications error occurs, the Host name, operating mode, and other information for the
host that caused the error will disappear from the screen.
