Detailed Description of Services
Section 6-4
Note
(1) Set values that can be changed during operation are saved to EEPROM.
(2) All set values are saved to EEPROM.
(3) Set the initial channel for gradient temperature control groups.
■
Description of Operation Commands and Precautions
• Write Mode
Set either the Port C backup mode or RAM write mode using the related
information. (The default is RAM write mode.)
When the mode is switched from RAM write mode to backup mode, the
settings for the parameters that can be changed during operation are not
written to EEPROM. Execute the Save RAM Data command if required.
Note
Settings that are changed from port A are always written to EEPROM. Be
sure to consider the limit to the number of writes when using port A.
• Software Reset
Executes a software reset.
A software reset performs the same operation as when the power is
cycled.
Execute a software reset only when control operations are stopped for all
channels.
• RUN/STOP
Starts or stops operation for the channels specified in the related informa-
tion.
• Auto/manual Switch
Switches between manual mode and automatic mode for the channels
specified in the related information. When switching from automatic to
manual mode, the MV will be written to EEPROM.
When switching to manual mode during GT or AT execution, the GT or AT
will be stopped before the mode is switched.
• GT Execute/Cancel
Selects executing or canceling GT for the initial channel in the group
specified in the related information.
All groups (including 2-PID control groups) must be in STOP mode before
GT is executed.
An error will occur in the following instances:
• When the RUN/STOP parameter is set to RUN
• When the AUTO/MANUAL parameter is set to MANUAL
• When GT is executed for a channel other than the initial channel in the
group
• When an input error occurs for any channel in the target group
• When GT is executed for a 2-PID control group
• 40% AT Execute/Cancel and 100% AT Execute/Cancel
Selects executing or canceling autotuning for the channels specified in
the related information. An “operation error” occurs in the following
instances:
• When the Run/Stop parameter is set to “stop”
• When the Auto/Manual parameter is set to “manual”
