Allocating I/O from the Configurator
Section 4-3
4-3-3
Parameter List
A list of the data that can be allocated is shown here. The data is divided
broadly into operation commands and status bits for Temperature Controllers
and Temperature Controller operation data and parameters.
Note Some data can be allocated in the IN Area or the OUT Area only. The type
numbers are used to differentiate each item and are not used to actually spec-
ify settings.
Operation Commands
and Status Bits for
the Temperature
Controllers
The operation commands and status bits for the Temperature Controllers are
shown in the following table. This data is a collection of the Temperature Con-
troller flags and bits in the Communications Unit, and is not the variable area
of the directly corresponding Temperature Controllers.
Note
1.
Always allocate the Output Enable Bits in the first two words of the OUT
Area.
2.
Always allocate the Output Enable Bits Units 0 to 7 and Output Enable Bits
Units 8 to 15 in the first two words of the OUT Area.
Temperature
Controller Operation
Data and Parameters
The following table shows the data used to monitor operation, such as the
Temperature Controller’s process values (PVs) and set points (SPs), the oper-
ation parameters such as PID constants, and initial setting parameters such
as input types. This data corresponds to the variable areas (C0, C1, and C3)
of the Temperature Controllers.
For details on how each of the data settings is used, refer to the E5ZN Tem-
perature Controller Operation Manual (H113).
