Indicators and Error Processing

NS: Flashing red
A communications tim-
eout has occurred.
Check the following items and restart
the Unit.
• Are lengths of cables (trunk and
branch lines) correct?
• Are cables short-circuited, broken,
or loose?
• Is terminating resistance connected
to both ends of the trunk line only?
• Is noise interference excessive?
The Unit is faulty.
Replace the Unit.
TS: OFF
Communications with
the Temperature Con-
trollers have stopped.
Set the Temperature Controller con-
nection configuration.
The Unit is faulty.
Replace the Unit.
TS: Flashing red
One or more of the con-
nected Temperature
Controllers is faulty.
Replace the faulty Temperature Con-
trollers. Check the communications
status and communications error sta-
tus to detect which Temperature Con-
troller is faulty.
One or more of the con-
nected Temperature
Controllers has been
disconnected.
Connect the Temperature Controllers
correctly. Check the communications
status and communications error sta-
tus to detect which Temperature Con-
troller is disconnected.
The unit number of one
or more Temperature
Controllers registered in
the connection configu-
ration is incorrect.
Change the unit number of the Tem-
perature Controller or register the
connection configuration correctly.
Pin 1 of the rear panel
DIP switch is set incor-
rectly.
Set correctly as follows:
Pin 1: ON (Set from rotary switch.)
Pin 1: OFF (Set from Configurator.)
Power is not being sup-
plied to the Terminal
Unit.
Supply 24-VDC power to terminals 19
and 20 of the leftmost Terminal Unit.
The Unit is faulty.
Replace the Unit.
TS: Flashing red
(Flashes for 10 s
only.)
A communications error
occurred with the Tem-
perature Controller
when copy was exe-
cuted.
• Check whether the Terminal Unit
connections are loose.
• When the configuration consists of
multiple blocks, check the RS-485
communications cables.
The settings down-
loaded for a Tempera-
ture Controller
configuration that is dif-
ferent from that used
when uploading.
Use the same Temperature Controller
configuration for downloading that
was used when uploading.
