02 Fax machine does not detect line
tone or receives incorrect signals. Check that the machine is conne-
cted correctly to the line and that
the handset is on the hook. Contact
other party and retry connection.
03 No answer from remote fax. Contact other party.
04 Anomaly detected during
transmission (nn = page number on
which error occurred). Repeat transmission starting from
page shown in PAGE field.
05 Unclear reception of certain pages
by remote fax. Repeat transmission.
07 Document is too long, transmission
time exceeds permitted limit. Divide document.
08 Optical scanner unable to read
document. Remove document from ADF and
re-insert it before repeating
transmission.

User has pressed STOP during
procedure.
No action.
10 Fax has detected anomaly during
reception. Contact other party and ask them
to repeat the transmission.
11 Printer anomaly during reception.
Remainder of document stored in
memory and memory capacity
exhausted before end of procedure. Remedy problem and wait until the
memorised document has been
printed.
13 Remote fax has no document for
polling transmission. Contact other party.
16 Power failure during transmission
or reception. In the case of transmission, repeat
from the page indicated (nn).
