MENUS, SUB-MENUS AND PARAMETERS
The START key confirms the menu selection and accesses the parameters directly if there is no
corresponding sub-menu. It also serves to confirm the setting of the selected parameter.
The various parameters which can be accessed from the menus and sub-menus are not shown in this
chart. These will be explained in due course in the sections dealing with the relative procedures.
MACHINE OPERATION MODES
Some display messages refer to machine operation modes. These messages indicate the conditions
assumed by the machine while it is waiting for the user to select a function. Such messages are generally
displayed each time you press STOP. Machine operation mode displays also include messages indicating
an operating condition currently in progress.
The following chart lists the initial machine operation modes:
The fax is set up for automatic reception.
All procedures in the manual start from this machine
operation mode.

The fax is set up for reception with an external telephone
answering machine.
Ø
The fax is set up for manual reception.
Ø
The fax is set up for reception with recognition of the type of call
(fax or telephone).
The RX MODE key allows you to scroll through the machine operating modes listed above.
IMPORTANT:
If you stop entering selections or pressing keys on the fax machine during any type of procedure for a
certain period of time, the machine will automatically return to the original operation mode.
