been stored in the memory
because there was a problem
during reception which
preventing immediate printing. Check nature of problem (no
paper or ink) and remedy.
REC. IN MEM. Reception continues with
storage in memory because of
paper error or ink out. Check nature of problem and
remedy.
OUT OF INK No ink in cartridge. Change cartridge.
ADD PAPER! No paper in the sheet feeder. Insert paper in sheet feeder.
CHECK PRINT HEAD Print head is not present or
some print nozzles are clogged
so print quality is negatively
affected. Check presence of print head.
Replace print head (

PRESS STOP Document scanning interrupted. Remove document by pressing
STOP and re-insert it correctly.
PRINT. COVER OPEN The printer cover is open or not

closed. Remove document and close
console.
PAPER ERROR
PRESS STOP Paper jam. Check and insert paper correctly -
press STOP.
SYSTEM ERROR nn A fatal system error has been
detected.
Switch off fax and switch it on
again. If problem persists call
Customer service.
CHECK PRINT OUT
1=EXIT 0=REPEAT Print head has just been
replaced. Check print quality and select 1
or 0.
CLEANING: ON Automatic test procedure in
progress. No action.
