DIALLING METHODS FOR MAKING A TELEPHONE CALL (DOCUMENT NOT INSERTED)
Dialling of a phone or fax number depends on whether or not there is a document in the document feeder.
If there is a document inserted then the machine will assume that the number dialled is a fax number. If no
document is inserted, the machine will assume that the number is a phone number.
The chart below illustrates the various methods for dialling a telephone number.

SPECIAL DIALLING FUNCTIONS
In the manual dialling phase, it is possible to use the following functions directly:
Change of the Frequency Mode

By pressing the * key, it is possible to dial a number in “multi-frequency” mode (i.e. tone) instead of
decadic mode (i.e. pulse). When this function is activated, the “*” symbol will appear on the display.
