Orientation of Original Document
Specifying the orientation of the original document on the platen. This is accomplished by telling the
copier the direction to which the top side of the original faces.

T
] to select
Original
Orientation
and press [Change #].

Select [Top Edge Top] when the top of
the original is facing towards the rear
side of the copier or [Top Edge Left]
when the original is facing towards the
left side of the copier.

Press [Close]. The touch panel will return to the
Machine Default
screen.
Setting Sleep Timer Timeout
The Sleep timer conserves energy when there is no operation on the operation panel or no data is
received. This predetermines the period of time before the copier enters sleep mode.
The Sleep timer can be set from 1 to 240 minutes in 1-minute increments.
NOTE:
If the copier is used frequently, we recommend using a longer timeout. If it is used
infrequently, use a shorter timeout.
