If the burner still doesn’t turn on, turn the
control knob to OFF (•) and wait 5 minutes
to le gas disperse, before trying again.
If the burner ignites regularly, proceed to
ignite the other burners in sequence op-

(Piezoelectric ignition).
In very sunny days it could be difficult to
see the flame of the lateral burner.
Do not bend on the open barbecue.
•
Use pans of the diameter between 160 and 240 mm on
the burner.
Do not place on the burner pans whose
joint weight exceeds 6,8 kg.
Do not turn off the burners flames with wa-
ter or other liquids.
If you lift the lid during cooking, some
steam could leak; operate carefully.

ø16÷24cm
The lid handle could be very hot: use kitch-
en gloves to hold it.
8. POSSIBLE TINY FLAMES CONTROL
•
Some tiny flames could occur while grilling meat.
•
This phenomenon is caused by grease which leaks
from meat and drops on the very hot flame stopper
plates.
•
The presence of little flushes contributes to give more
taste to meat, but excessive flames burn meat making
it bitter.
•
To reduce the chance that this phenomenons occur to
remove meat grease before beginning to cook and to
reduce to the minimum the burners level is advised.
•
Always protect your hand when operating near the
cooking surface.
DO NOT LET THE BARBECUE OVERHEAT !
9. FLASHBACKS
•
In case of flashbacks in one or more burners, while the
barbecue is working, turn all the knobs to “OFF” and
close the gas bottle valve in “OFF” (•) position.
•
Wait 5 minutes before trying to reignite the barbecue.
•
If the problem persists, wait for the barbecue to cool
down and check that the burners holes are clean and
clean them with compressed air or with a brush if nec-
essary.
If the problem persists, do not try to solve
it on your own as this could cause serious
injuries and/or material damages; please
refer to an authorized assistance centre (or
directly to Ohmex).
