INSTRUCTIONS FOR LPG USE
2. LPG GAS BOTTLE INSTALLATION
•
Buy a full LPG gas bottle from you retailer.
The bottle must always be installed, moved
and stored in vertical position.
Avoid letting the bottle drop and handle it
with care.
The bottle must never be store at tempera-
tures higher than 51°C (too hot to handle).
Do not let the bottle in the car in very hot
days (See: “ADVICES FOR A LPG GAS BOT-
TLE SAFE USE” chapter).
2.1- Ground positioning
•
Place the bottle on the ground to the right of the bar-
becue.
•
Turn the LPG bottle so that the valve opening is facing
the barbecue front part.
2.2- Bottle connection
Use a certified pressure regulator (not sup-
plied with the appliance).
The use of non certified components could
cause serious or fatal personal injuries, fires
or explosions, damages to things.
Make sure that the LPG bottle or regulator
valve is closed.
•
Screw the regulator to the connection and to the bot-
tle by turning the threaded nut clockwise.
Note:
Make sure that the hose is not subject to twists.
It is advised to replace the barbecue gas hose
every 5 years. In some countries the standard
requires the replacement of the gas hose at
intervals inferior to 5 years; in this case the
requirements of the country take precedence.
