Use A Spoilboard Sheet to Reduce Artifacts
Introduction
When printing on thin, flexible, or porous media, the counter-bore holes in the vacuum table of the T220UV can cause print
artifacts (sometimes referred to as “dimpling”). If you encounter this problem when printing, consider adding a spoilboard
sheet between the media and the table to reduce this problem.
Purpose
To reduces print artifacts (dimples) on thin media.
When to do
If you use a thin media that shows dimples that correspond to the holes in the vacuum table, then you may need a spoilboard
beneath your media to avoid this problem.
