Secure access to the machine
Introduction
The Océ 31x5E allows you to secure access to the machine (see ‘ About the
access-secured system ’ on page 37 ). If the machine is secured, the user must
enter a unique PIN, to enter the display screen menu and to start the jobs.

In order to define machine-security, proceed as follows:
Before you begin

Enter the key operator system.

Check to insure that the authorized users have valid user accounts (see ‘ About
the accounting system ’ on page 90 ).
