VLANs
This switch provides Layer 2 VLAN for following reasons;
By appropriated settings to eliminate broadcast storms in
large networks. This also provide a more secure and
cleaner network environment.
VLAN provides greater network performance by reducing
broadcast traffic and also provides high level of network
security since traffic must pass through a configured Layer
3 link to reacha different VLAN.
The VLAN Configuration for the switch can be monitored
and modified here.

Acccess
VLANs
Set Allowed Access VLANs. It only affects
ports configured as Access Port, The
following example will create VLANs

Ethertype for
Custom
S-Ports
Specifieds the ethertype/TPID used for
Custom S-ports.
Port
The logical port for the settings contained in
the same row.
Mode
The port mode determines the fundamental
behavior of the port
[Access]
It is used to connect to end
stations.
[Trunk]
Trunk ports can carry traffic on
multiple VLANs, and used to connect to other
switches.
[Hybrid]
Hybrid ports resemble trunk ports,
but adds additional port configuration
