Hardware Communications Options

The Passport 5430 is designed to scale to your needs. You can add up to three 
expansion or voice processor cards, up to three optional WAN adapter modules, 
one V.34 module, and up to seven PMC modules. 

The Passport 5430 processor card supports:

Two Ethernet 10/100BASE-TX interfaces

•

One console interface

The Passport 5430 supports the following PMC modules:

One ATM T1/E1 module

•

Up to six dual synchronous modules

The Passport 5430 also supports up to three of the following adapter modules:
