Press the button you want to move the
erased. The lines, or the line and
feature, simply switch places.

not a line button. If you are trying to
switch a line and a feature, move the
line to the feature button and not vice
versa.
Dialing
Each external line is set to either pulse or tone dialing. Pulse
dialing is the traditional method of dialing used by rotary dial or
push button single-line telephones. Tone dialing allows
telephones to communicate with other devices such as
answering machines. Tone dialing is required to access the
features that
systems may offer or to use another
system remotely. (For more information, see the section Using
remotely).
Your Installer sets your lines to pulse or tone dialing in

To
switch from pulse to tone dialing
If your external lines are programmed for pulse dialing, you can
your telephone temporarily to tone dialing.

Telephone Administration Lock
Telephone Administration Lock limits tke ways in which
can
your telephone. There are three types of Telephone
Lock: Full, Partial, and None.
Full Administration Lock lets you change the contrast of your
telephone’s display, use Ring Type, Ring Volume and Button
Inquiry, and control the volume of your speaker.
Partial Administration Lock allows you to forward your
turn
on Do Not Disturb and Service Modes, and use the
Music, Send Message, Ring Again, Privacy, and Trunk
features.
(No Administration Lock) allows you to access all features
programmed for your telephone. The System
Coordinator assigns Administration Lock to each telephone in

Telephone Administration Lock does not affect call handling
features.
