Setting up User Management
You can do the following:
S
Enable/Disable user management
S
Modify the password codes for both the Operator and Technician
S
Reset Password codes to their defaults
S
Modify the Password Timeout Intervals for both the Operator and
Technician
Setting up User Management and Modifying Password Codes
1. Press the on the Navigation pad to Enable User Management. You
must enter the Technician password to continue. The default Technician
password is 2000
.
2. Select Modify Password , press > then select from which user
management profile you want to change the password code. Enter the
New password code, then enter it again to confirm.
3. When done, press < to return to the User Management menu or to
return to the Home screen.
Resetting Password Codes to Default
1. Select Reset Passwords , then press the on the Navigation pad. A
confirmation check mark briefly appears. Both the Operator and
Technician password codes are returned to their defaults.
2. Press < to return to the Security menu or to return to the Home
screen.
Modifying the Timeout Intervals
1. Select Password Timeout Intervals , then press > to select which
security profile timeout interval you want to change. The default is 60
seconds, the minimum is 30 seconds, and the maximum is 600 seconds
(120 minutes).
2. When done, press < to return to the User Management menu or to
return to the Home screen.
