Defining Electronic Pressure Settings and Monitoring
Alert Settings
Use Electronic Pressure Adjust to remotely change and monitor system
melter pressure. You can optionally decide if you want to receive pressure
alerts when the system pressure, hydraulic or pneumatic exceeds the
defined thresholds.
NOTES:
S
The melter will go into an Alert condition only if the pressure meets or
exceeds the high/low thresholds for more than 10 seconds.
S
You can change the pressure scaling from the
System Settings |
Preferences
menu. The default is
Pneumatic
S
Press
on the OLED panel to clear and reset any Alert, Fault, or
Stop condition.
Electronic Pressure Alert and Monitoring
You will receive an alert alarm, if pressure is out of tolerance for more than 10
seconds.

A “+” symbol appears next to the
High Pressure Alert threshold
setting
indicating the offset or delta from the
Maximum Pressure Set Point Range
setting.
S
A “-” symbol appears next to the
Low Pressure Alert threshold
setting
indicating the offset or delta from the
Minimum Pressure Set Point Range
setting.
1. Select
Pressure Setting Range Alert
and press the
on the
Navigation pad to toggle
Pressure Alert
to Enabled or Disabled. The
default is Enabled.
2. Select
Low Pressure Alert Threshold
, press

then enter the amount
of pressure offset below the set point before the melter enters into an
Alert condition. When done, press the
on the Navigation pad.
