Defining Level and Fill Settings
Melt-on-Demand systems include the Fill System, but it is optional on
tank-based systems. The following section details Fill and Level settings.

Settings
Melt-on-Demand and tank systems with the optional Fill System include the
following additional fill settings:

Maximum Fill Time and Target Fill Level Settings
Use the Maximum Fill Time and Target Fill Level to ensure a consistent level
of adhesive is in the tank, suitable for product production.
1. Select
Maximum Fill
Time
, press
>
,
and enter the maximum number of
seconds the controller can attempt to fill the tank before causing an Alert
condition. The default and minimum is 60 seconds and the maximum is
300 seconds. When done, press the
on the Navigation pad to accept
changes.
2. Select
Target Fill Level
, press
>
, and enter the percentage of the tank
level as a basis for when you want the controller to start/stop filling the
tank. The controller will
start
filling the tank 5% below the target level and
stop
filling 5% above the target level. The default is 50%, the minimum is
40%, and the maximum is 90%. When done, press the
on the
Navigation pad to accept changes.
3. Press
to return to the
Home
screen, or press
<
to return to the
System Settings
menu.
NOTE:

Press
on the OLED panel to clear and reset any Alert, Fault, or
Stop condition.
