PoE Configuration
Use the PoE Configuration page to view global PoE power information and to configure PoE
SNMP trap settings.

PoE Configuration
. A screen similar to the
following displays.
1.
Unit
- Displays the Current PoE Unit. You can change the PoE Unit by selecting another
unit ID listed here.
2.
Use
System Usage Threshold
to set a threshold level at which a trap is sent if consumed
power is greater than threshold power.
3.
Use
Power Management Mode
to describe or control the power management algorithm
used by the PSE to deliver power to the requesting PDs. "Static" value means that power
allocated for each port depends on the type of power threshold configured on the port.
"Dynamic" value means that power consumption of each port is measured and calculated in
real-time.
4.
Use
Auto Reset Mode
to specify Enable or Disable. When set to "Enable", the PSE port is
reset without administrator intervention whenever a fault condition occurs. When set to
"Disable", the administrator has to reset the PSE port whenever a fault condition is detected.
5.
Use
Traps
to enable or disable activation of PoE traps by selecting the corresponding check
box. The factory default is enabled.
