DHCP Server Configuration
To display the DHCP Server Configuration page, click
System
>
Services
>
DHCP
Server
>
DHCP Server Configuration
. A screen similar to the following displays.
To enable or disable DHCP service:
1.
Use
Admin Mode
to specify whether the DHCP Service is to be Enabled or Disabled.
Default value is Disable.
2.
Use
Ping Packet Count
to specify the number of packets a server sends to a Pool address
to check for duplication as part of a ping operation. Default value is 2. Valid Range is (0, 2 to
10). Setting the value to 0 will disable the function.
3.
Use
Conflict Logging Mode
to specify whether conflict logging on a DHCP Server is to be
Enabled or Disabled. Default value is Enable.
4.
Use
Bootp Automatic Mode
to specify whether Bootp for dynamic pools is to be Enabled
or Disabled. Default value is Disable.
5.
Click
CANCEL
to cancel the configuration on the screen. Resets the data on the screen to
the latest value of the switch.
6.
Click
APPLY
to send the updated configuration to the switch. Configuration changes take
effect immediately.
