ProSafe® Gigabit L3 Managed Stackable Switches Software Administration Manual 

To configure IGMP Snooping Querier settings:

1. 

Use 

Querier Admin Mode

 to select the administrative mode for IGMP Snooping for the 

switch. The default is disable.

2. 

Use 

Querier IP Address

 to specify the Snooping Querier Address to be used as source 

address in periodic IGMP queries. This address is used when no address is configured on 
the VLAN on which query is being sent.

3. 

Use 

IGMP Version

 to specify the IGMP protocol version used in periodic IGMP queries. 

IGMP queries.

4. 

Use 

Query Interval(secs)

 to specify the time interval in seconds between periodic queries 

sent by the snooping querier. The Query Interval must be a value in the range of 1 and 
1800. The default value is 60.

5. 

Use 

Querier Expiry Interval(secs)

 to specify the time interval in seconds after which the 

last querier information is removed. The Querier Expiry Interval must be a value in the range 
of 60 and 300. The default value is 60.
