Function Keys
The Versa S gives you twelve function keys,
F1
through
F12
. When used in conjunction with
Fn
, some of the func-
tion keys act as system control keys. (These are described
under “Control Keys” later in this section.) Otherwise,
function key performance depends on the application that
you are using. See your software documentation for infor-
mation about what the keys will do.
Typewriter Keys
The Versa S typewriter keys (also called alphanumeric
keys) are used almost exactly as on a typewriter. Keys that
behave differently do so when combined with control keys
or functions keys. These keys are noted in the descriptions
that follow.
