Control Keys

The Versa S keyboard provides a number of control keys,
including:

Ctrl

Alt

are used to change the functions of other

keys. To use these control keys, press and hold the control
key while pressing another key. For example, “press

Ctrl

” means to hold down the

Ctrl

key and type the letter

How the key combination works depends on the applica-
tions you are running.

■

The

Ctrl-Alt-S

key combination is preprogrammed on

your Versa S system.

Ctrl-Alt-S

starts the System Configuration Utility setup

program. Pressing this preprogrammed combination key
lets you go directly to setup menus. See Chapter 4 for
details about setup.

CAUTION: Save your data before calling the SCU
program. Otherwise, you may loose your work. Exit-
ing the setup program reboots your system.
