Display Mode
Select and activate the display mode. To use an external
monitor with your notebook, keep the default setting.

Memory
Memory setup features let you enable and disable cache
memory as described next.
Cache Enable
Cache memory is an area in RAM that holds some program
data normally kept on the hard disk. Enabling this feature
can speed up some application processing. However, other
programs may not work with this enabled. Cache is enabled
at the factory.
To disable cache memory, highlight the option and
press
Enter
.
Power Mgmt
This menu lets you set up power management options to
conserve energy and save battery power. For details about
Power Management features and settings, see Chapter 5.
