THE POWER MENU
Selecting “Power” from the menu bar displays a screen
with the power management parameters described in the
following table.
A power management system reduces the amount of en-
ergy used after specified periods of inactivity. The Power
menu supports a Full-On state, a Standby state with partial
power reduction, and a Suspend state with full power re-
duction. See “Power Management” in Chapter 1 for addi-
tional
information about managing power.
Use the Power menu to specify your settings for Power
Management. Use the following table to make your
selections.
To disable all power management
features, set advanced power management (APM)
to Disabled. See the following table to set power
management parameters.
