Audio output connector
Provides the digital audio output from the CD-ROM
reader to the sound board.

n

 

Configuration jumpers
Sets the configuration for the CD-ROM reader to a
Master or Slave configuration (see the following figure
and jumper descriptions).

n

 

IDE cable connector
Connects the IDE interface to the CD-ROM reader.
This connection controls the CD-ROM reader and data.
Connect the IDE interface cable from the secondary
IDE port on the system board to this connector. The
IDE interface cable is keyed to fit in only the correct
position.

Power connector
Provides operating power from your computer. The
IDE power cable is keyed to fit in only the correct
position.
