CAUTION:  

The diskette drive cable is

not

 keyed to fit only in the correct position. Align the

red edge of the cable with pin 1 of the connectors on
the drive and system board.

 Optional diskette drive cable

PCI/IDE Cable

 

Systems ship with an IDE interface cable connecting the
hard disk drive to the primary PCI/IDE connector on the
system board. An optional hard disk drive cable (shown in
the following figure) is required if attaching a second hard
disk drive.

 

The NEC spare part number for the optional PCI/IDE ca-
ble that supports two devices is 158-050562-000. This op-
tional PCI/IDE cable can be used on either the primary or
secondary system board connector.
