Removing the System Unit Cover 5-9
Removing the Minitower Bottom Access Cover
Remove the bottom access cover as follows.
1.
Turn off and unplug the system unit and monitor.
2.
Disconnect the keyboard and mouse from the rear of
the system.
3.
Unplug any external options (such as a printer)
connected to the rear of the system unit.
4.
Turn the system over on its side, with the bottom facing
you (see the following figure).

5.
Remove the screw holding the access cover in place.
6.
Slide the access cover to the left, towards the rear of
the system, to release it from the chassis. Remove the
access cover from the chassis.
