4-24 Setting System Parameters
Load Previous Values
If, during a Setup session, you change your mind about
your selections and have not yet saved the values to
NVRAM, you can restore the values you previously saved
to NVRAM.
Selecting Load Previous Values on the Exit menu updates
all the selections and displays this message:
Previous values have been loaded!
[continue]
Save Changes
Save Changes saves all the selections without exiting Setup.
You can return to the other menus if you want to review and
change your selections.
OPERATING SYSTEM BACKUP UTILITY
The following procedures provide the required information
to make a backup of the operating system you selected at
power-on. The first procedure “Microsoft Create System
Disks,” is for the Windows 95 operating system. The
second procedure “NEC Distribution Diskette Creator,” is
for creating a backup of the MS-DOS and Windows for
Workgroups operating system.
These procedures are for backing up the operating system
and does not include any other software on the hard drive.
The operating system is backed up onto 1.44 MB diskettes.
Microsoft Create System Disks
The Microsoft Create System Disks utility program is
provided when you choose Windows 95 as your operating
system. To back up Windows 95, you will need 30
formatted 1.44 MB diskettes.
