Replacement and Adjustment Procedure

1. Replacement

Procedure

Replace the Cartridge Frame Assembly

1. Carry out Head Cleaning.
2. Remove the Right Paper Guide.
3. Disconnect all connectors J402 to J413 from the

junction board assembly leaving only J401
(FFC) connected.

4. Remove the connectors of the cartridge pipes

and ink tubes on the cable guide.

5. Remove the Y Rail Cover Support. (2 fastening

screws)

CAUTION:

If there is wash liquid remain-
ing in the ink tubes and head
dampers, it may flow out from
the head nozzles and spill
around the maintenance
assembly. Use cotton waste to
wipe up any spilt wash liquid.

CAUTION:

When pipes and tubes are
being removed, mark the
tubes so that they will not be
confused when they are re-
assembled.
