Menu on the Top of the Screen
Menu on the top of the screen has columns such as “Analysis Mode”, “Set Parameter”,
“Curve Type”, “Spectrum”, “Data”.

Analysis Mode
This feature has not been activated yet.
2
.
Parameter Setting
Click “Set Parameter” to set the start number and concentration unit of sample.

Curve Types
By clicking “Curve Type”, a pull-down sub-menu shown in Fig.2-17 appears. It has the
following items (Mark “
√
” is a default selection.)
⑴
⑴
⑴
⑴
Line-Linear Curve (1
st
order). The concentrations of a series of standard samples and
their corresponding fluorescent intensity are fitted to form a linear equation.
⑵
⑵
⑵
⑵
Quadric-Quadric Curve (2
nd
order). The concentrations of a series of standard samples
and their corresponding fluorescent intensity are fitted to form a quadric equation.

Cubic -Cubic Curve (3

order). The concentrations of a series of standard samples and
their corresponding fluorescent intensity are fitted to form a cubic equation.

Calculate Coefs.- Method of Undetermined Coefficients. The method by which an
equation of working curve is created through measuring standard samples is called Method of
Undetermined Coefficients. For more details, refer to Section 9

Input Coefs.- Method of Coefficient Input. For a quantitative measurement of known
working curve equation of standard samples. Click the “Coefficient Setting for Working Curve”
icon and input coefficients “K0” and “K1” to create an equation of working curve. The method of
measuring a sample by Method of Coefficient Input is described as below.
①
Click “Input Coefs.” in “Curve Type” menu.
②
Click “Set Working Curve Parameter” icon. “Input Coefficient” dialog appears. After
inputting coefficients “K0” and “K1” separately, click “OK” (In linear curve “K0” represents
intercept and “K1” represents slope.). Thus an equation of the working curve is created and can be
used for measuring a sample.
