Tuning in Stations Located in the Set Area
Once the current area is set, stations of each band saved in the preset memory for each area
can be tuned in.

Press a Preset tuning key (1 to 7).
A station saved to the Preset tuning key is tuned in.
To adjust the radio volume
Press
to adjust the volume.
• The volume can be adjusted at 31 levels. At the time of purchase, it is
set to “15”.

If you press a Preset tuning key for over 2 seconds, the currently tuned-in station is saved in My-memory. Note
that the previous station in My-memory is overwritten.
Poor Radio Reception in the Super Area Call Tuning Mode
Radio Reception may be improved by setting a satellite station. The satellite stations are
those that are intended to broadcast same programs while located in the same area. For
details on the satellite station, see the list of radio frequencies (P.199).
• You can not perform the setting when the “My-memory tuning” mode is set.
