Before Using the Mova

Powering ON/OFF

• For turning on/off the radio, see P.87.

Powering ON

When the Mova is powered ON, the main display and keypad backlights are turned on.

 for over a second.

The Mova is powered ON and the Wake-up image (animation) is displayed.
After a while, the stand-by display appears.

Powering OFF

Press 

 for over 2 seconds.

The Mova is powered OFF after the Power OFF image (animation) appears.
If this is done during a call, the Mova is powered OFF after the call is disconnected.

Setting the Basic Functions

The Initial setting can be used to make basic settings such as the Security code, Date/
time, and Send own number. See the respective pages for details on the settings.

Set each item.

●

When you perform the Reset or if any items are incomplete in the Initial setting, the message “Format incompleted.
Format?” appears when the Mova is powered ON. The display of step 1 appears when selecting [Yes] and you
can set items for the Initial setting.

Description

Change the Security code (P.75).

Set the date and time of the Mova (P.28).

Set the phone tone (P.56).

Set an image/calendar and a type of clock for the stand-by display (P.65).

Set whether to send the Mova’s phone number in such a case as when you place a call (P.28).

Save your name, address, etc. (P.29).
