Placing/Receiving Calls
●
During i-mode or i-mode stand-by
• One of the following guidance messages is played back for the caller, depending on the setting of the Call
during i-mode.
※
When you subscribe to the Voice Mail Service, the Call Forwarding Service or the Call Waiting Service, perform
the “1450” setting. If “1451”, “1452” or “1459” is set, the settings above are ignored.
●
To set the Public mode (Driving mode) on the Mova, press
. Do not set the Public mode (Driving mode)
using “14151 (ON)” or “14150 (OFF)” since it is not effective when the Mova is powered ON but only effective
when the Mova is powered OFF or out of the service area. If the Public mode (Driving mode) is set using
“14151 (ON)”, cancel the mode using “14150 (OFF)”. When “ 25251 (Public mode (Power OFF))” is set at the
same time, the last setting has priority.
●
When the Remote keypad lock is set to [ON], not the guidance to inform the caller that you are driving but the
guidance informing that the Keypad lock is set is played back regardless of the Public mode (Driving mode)
in use if the number of calls from the saved Registered no. reaches the set count.
Rejecting Calls in Places Where It Is Required to Power OFF Mobile Phones
The Public mode (Power OFF) is an automated answering service designed focused on
manners in highly public places. When the Public mode (Power OFF) is set, the guidance
is played back to inform the caller that you are unable to answer the call because you are
in a place where it is required to power OFF a mobile phone (such as in hospitals, airplanes,
and near priority seats in trains), provided that there is an incoming call when the Mova is
powered OFF, and then the call is disconnected.

When the Public mode (Power OFF) is set
• The guidance for the Public mode (Power OFF) is played back, saying a message like “I cannot answer the call
because I am in a place where it is required to power OFF a mobile phone. Please call again after some time.”,
so long as the Mova is powered OFF, outside the service area, or out of reach of radio wave, and then the call
is disconnected.
■
Operations during the Public mode (Power OFF)
Mova’s operations for an incoming call during the Public mode (Power OFF) depend on what Network
Services are used, as follows.
●
When the Voice Mail Service is “ON”
• The guidance is played back to inform the caller that the call is forwarded to the Voice Mail Service Center
because you are in a place where it is required to power OFF a mobile phone, and then the call is connected
to the Voice Mail Service Center.
●
When the Call Forwarding Service is “ON”
• Whether the guidance to the caller is played back is determined by the setting made by “1429” of the Call
Forwarding Service. When set to “ON”, the guidance is played back to inform the caller that the call is
forwarded because you are in a place where it is required to power OFF a mobile phone. When set to “OFF”,
the guidance is not played back.
