Before Using the Radio
With SO213iWR capable of receiving AM, FM, and TV (1 to 12 ch) broadcasting, you can
enjoy radio and TV programs through the internal speaker or the supplied Switched Monaural
Earphone. While listening to the radio, you can perform other functions such as displaying
a site and composing mail (background playback).

Band/Set Key
Press to change the band alternately (AM/FM/TV).
Press for over 2 seconds to enter the Radio setting mode.
Press in the Radio setting mode to finalize the selected
item.

Tuning Keys
Press in the Manual tuning mode to select a frequency
or channel.
Press in the Radio setting mode to move the cursor.

AM Antenna (invisible built-in antenna)
When receiving AM broadcast, make sure not to place a
metal object near the antenna, nor to cover it with your hand.
Reorient or relocate the Mova for better radio reception.

Preset Tuning Keys (1 to 7)
Press in the Super Area Call tuning mode or My-memory
tuning mode to tune in a preset station.
Press for over 2 seconds to save the currently tuned-in
station in My-memory.

Sounds including the ring tone and radio sound are heard
through here.

Radio Lock Key/Radio Power Key
Slide to the “
” position to lock the radio keys.
Slide to the “
” position to turn on/off the radio.

Radio Volume Keys
Press to adjust the volume of the radio.

Sound Output Switch
Switch the sound output of the radio between the
earphone (stereo/monaural) and internal speaker.
Tuning Mode
For radio reception, 3 tuning modes: “Super Area Call tuning”, “My-memory tuning”, and
“Manual tuning” are available.

Super Area Call tuning (P.88)
By selecting the current area from
the nationwide 15 areas, you can
tune in stations that have been
saved for each area with a press
of a Preset tuning key (1 to 7).

My-memory tuning (P.90)
You can save up to 7 favorite
stations of each of AM, FM, and
TV bands to My-memory, enabling
access with a press of a Preset
tuning key (1 to 7).

Manual tuning (P.91)
You can receive a station by
