Keeping Clear Sound Quality
In a place, such as located in a reinforced concrete building, interfered by mountains, and
on board a train, sound quality may be inferior due to weak radio signals. Try to change the
orientation of the antenna or the location of the radio until you can determine the orientation
or location of optimal radio reception.
• Radio waves used for AM, FM, and TV broadcasting are different each other. Reception may become noisy and
hard to hear due to listening conditions, such as using the radio in a place of poor reception performance or near
electronic equipment. This is not a malfunction.
■
Receiving TV and FM broadcast
The cord of the Earphone Mic or of the AC adapter can be used
as an antenna. Even when listening through the speaker, connect
the Earphone Mic unless the AC adapter is connected. Extend
the cord as far as possible and change the position of the cord
for better sound quality. The sound quality also increases by
moving the radio closer to a window.
■
Receiving AM broadcast
The built-in AM antenna of the Mova is used for AM radio
reception. Move the antenna portion of the Mova to the direction
of better radio reception. The sound quality also increases by
moving the radio closer to a window.
