Network

The

Link Layer Discovery Protocol

(LLDP) or IEEE 802.1AB is a vendor-neutral Data Link Layer protocol used by network

devices for advertising of (announcing) their identity, capabilities, and interconnections on a IEEE 802 LAN network.
The protocol is formally referred to by the IEEE as

To view a network’s Link Layer Discovery Protocol statistics:

1. Select the

Statistics

menu from the Web UI.

2. Select

from the navigation pane (on the left-hand side of the screen), expand the default node and select

an access point for statistical observation.

and expand the menu to reveal its sub menu items
