Note:
The laser is disabled by the M*Vision software until the appropriate workflow step has
been reached. The laser shall remain locked throughout the workflow until treatment
monitoring begins. However, the visible pilot laser beam is always enabled. The visible pilot
laser (red color) light is a class 2 laser product according to IEC 60825-1 with maximum power
of 1 mW. The laser will NOT emit higher energy when the foot pedal is pressed during Self-Test.
After system start-up, the red glow from the pilot laser will be visible in laser mating connector
when the laser probe is not connected. After connecting the laser fiber plug, a visible red glow
indicates an incomplete connection of the laser plug in the PCM.
