one outdoor unit exceeds
limitations.
The model total of indoor units
in the system with one outdoor
unit exceeds the following ta-
ble.
1) Check the model total (capacity
code total) of indoor units con-
nected.
2) Check the model name (capaci-
ty code) of the connected indoor
unit set by the switch (SW2 on
indoor unit board).
When the model name set by the
switch is different from that of the
unit connected, turn off the power
source of the outdoor and the indoor
units, and change the setting of the
model name (capacity code).

is inappropriate.
(1) The model names (model
codes) of the connected
indoor units are out of con-
nectable range.

1) Check the model names (model
codes) of the connected indoor
units.
2) Check the model name (capaci-
ty code) of the indoor unit which
has the error source address set
by the switch (SW2 on indoor
unit board).
When the model name set by the
switch is different from that of the
unit connected, turn off the pow-
er source of the outdoor and the
indoor units, and change the set-
ting of the capacity code.
*The capacity of the indoor unit can
be confirmed by the self-diagnosis
function (SW1 operation) of the out-
door unit.

the allowable range.
(1) Number of indoor units
connected to the outdoor
terminal block (TB3) for in-
door/outdoor transmission
lines exceeds limitations
described below.
(2) Disconnected transmis-
sion line of the outdoor unit
(3) Short-circuited transmis-
sion line
1) Check whether the number of
units connected to the outdoor
terminal block (TB3) for indoor/
outdoor transmission lines does
not exceed the limitation. (See
(1) and (2) on the left.)
2) Check (2) - (3) on the left.
3) Check whether the transmission
line for the terminal block for
centralized control (TB7) is not
connected to the terminal block
for the indoor/outdoor transmis-
sion line (TB3).

The address of outdoor unit is

Check that the address of OC unit is
set to 51- 100. Reset the address if it
stays out of the range, while shutting
the power source off.
