Specify emulation mode
Specify the “Emulation mode“.
This feature is only enabled if “All Raster“ are set to “OFF“.
➜ Select “EXPANDED“ and the mode will provide PCL6 compatibility.
➜ Select “STANDARD“ and the mode will provide PCL5 compatibility.
Turning Toner Save on and off
You can reduce your printing costs with the “Toner Save“ feature.
Text and graphics are printed in gray in Toner Save mode. The purpose
of this is to use as little toner as possible. You can save on printing costs
by printing rough drafts and other preliminary materials in Toner Save
mode.
➜ Select “ON“ and your documents will be printed using a minimal
amount of toner.
➜ Select “OFF“ and your documents will be printed with the normal
amount of toner.
Turning Fine-ART on and off
Optimize the print quality of text and graphics in your document with the
“Fine-ART“ feature.
➜ Select “ON“ and the edges of graphics and text will be smoothed. This
will give you optimal print quality of text and image combinations in
printed documents.
➜ Select “OFF“ and the print quality of photos will be optimized in printed
documents.
Specify graphics quality
Use the “Graphics Quality“ feature to specify the resolution of graphics
when printed.
➜ Select “HIGH“ and graphics will be printed with high-resolution print
quality.
➜ Select “MEDIUM“ and graphics will be printed with medium print
quality at a faster speed.
➜ Select “LOW“ and graphics will be printed with low-resolution print
quality at the fastest speed.
