Pull the paper feed roller down from
the guide rod.

Push the new paper feed roller up to
the stop on the guide rod.
Make sure that the rubber coating
faces away from the laser printer.

Push one of the safety brackets into
the groove on the guide rod
provided for it (of the paper feed
roller).

Press the damper under the paper
feed roller down and guide the loose
end of the guide rod back into the
bearing.

Secure the guide rod in place with
the second safety bracket.
