Guide the gear of the manual feed
unit into the gear opening of the
printer. Be careful that the metal tab
does not bend as it comes close to
the gear.

Fasten the manual feed unit in place
onto the printer with the three
screws (included).

Insert the connector of the manual
feed unit into the connection socket.

Set the cover for the connection
sockets back in place and fasten the
screws tightly. Make certain that the
connection cable is not jammed in
or
leave the cover open if you will be
installing the duplex unit right away.
